MCA Admissions & Registration
All Are Welcome
We welcome students of all faiths to attend our school. Students of other denominations or churches of the traditional Christian faith will be eligible for admission if they are willing and able to accept the rules and regulations of Maranatha Christian and participate in all of the curricular and extracurricular events and activities of the school.

Come see what MCA has to offer! Maranatha Christian Academy welcomes school visitation by students and parents who are interested in enrolling. On occasion, students may also be allowed to bring a friend or relative to school for a day. The school administrator and the teacher(s) must approve all such visitation in advance. Please call the school office to make arrangements.
Age Requirements
K4: As a general rule, the student must be four years old on or before July 1 of the year in which he/she enters school.
K5: As a general rule, the student must be five years old on or before July 1 of the year in which he/she enters school.
Grade 1: As a general rule, the student must be six years old on or before July 1 of the year in which he/she enters school and/or must have successfully completed one year of kindergarten.
Policies & Procedures
Admission to Maranatha Christian Academy is based upon
- a completed application (and payment of fee);
- an interview with parent(s) and student;
- additional documents as requested; and
- entrance testing for 1st–12th as the school administrator deems necessary.
Special Attention
We will admit a varying body of students to Maranatha Christian Academy but will give special attention to the following:
- Student’s testimony of faith in Jesus Christ
- A written statement of the student’s salvation experience should accompany the application if the student is old enough to understand his or her commitment to Christ.
- Student’s and parents’ faithfulness to and activity in the local church
- A pastor’s recommendation must accompany the application.
- Reason(s) for requesting admission to Maranatha Christian Academy
- Parent’s understanding of the rules and regulations of the school and a willingness to accept and obey them
- Parent’s ability and willingness to accept financial responsibility for school tuition
- Academic data from previous school attendance and behavior records
- Students with extreme learning problems will not function well at Maranatha Christian due to our size and limitations.
