To support our students’ academic success, Maranatha Christian offers three graduation tracks: the standard diploma, college preparatory diploma, and advanced college preparatory diploma. Each track fulfills the graduation requirements set by the West Virginia Department of Education and Mercer County.

College Prep

Juniors and seniors at MCA can enroll in dual credit courses, giving them a head start on their college graduation requirements. For more information, please get in touch with Dr. Santina St. John via email.

Diplomas

We have instituted a program of studies that allows students to earn one of three diplomas.

  • Standard Diploma
  • College Prep Diploma
  • Advanced College Prep Diploma

Each diploma requires students to earn 28 credits.

At Maranatha Christian Academy, we are committed to helping students achieve their fullest potential, both academically and spiritually, honoring each child as a unique creation of God. Offerings include honors classes, dual-enrollment courses, vocational enrollment classes, speech therapy, limited accommodations, and modifications.
