    About Me: I received my certification in industrial training from Michigan State. I started coaching at 19 and am now a WVSSAC certified coach. I have coached baseball, soccer, football, basketball, golf, and tennis.

    Fun Facts: I still beat my three boys at golf. I taught my wife how to cook.

    About Me: I received my BS in education from Concord. I later received my masters in elementary/middle school education multi-subjects as well as clinical psychology. I also received my EdS in school psychology as well as educational administration. Finally, I received my doctorate in educational administration.

    Sharon Dove K4 Teacher

    About Me: I began volunteering at MCA when my son started kindergarten in 2003. In 2013, I started working as a K5 teacher's aide, then moved to full-time aide the following year for the first grade class. I began teaching K4 full time in 2015 after Mrs. Taylor retired. This coming fall with be my tenth year teaching. My training has been "on the job" working side by side with some of the best!

    Fun Facts: I enjoy watching horror movies. I love to cook.

    About Me: I graduated with my LPN in 2010. After some time in healthcare, I began working in Christian education. I have since been involved in Christian education for three years. In 2023, I received by RBA from Concord University.

    Fun Facts: I love all animals (especially cats and cows). I am a Disney adult.

    About Me: I received my Associate Degree in General Studies and am currently pursuing my degree in early childhood education. I homeschooled for two years and have three years of Christian school experience.

    Fun Facts: I love anything cheetah print. I live on a farm in Virginia.

    About Me: I received my B.S. in Science from Mountain State University. Since then, I have been involved in Christian education for seven years.

    Fun Facts: I played trombone in middle school with Michael Myers. As a kid, my nickname was “Sunshine.”

    About Me: I received my Bachelor of Science. Since then, I have worked five years in Christian education. I am registered in physics, and have my certification in ACSI.

    Fun Facts: I am obsessed with Dr. Pepper. Mrs. Watson once told me she loved me.

    About Me: I graduated with my B.A. in Elementary Education. After that, I taught in an elementary setting for three years, and then a middle school setting for three years. I then began homeschooling my children.

    Fun Facts: I love archery, fishing, and cliff diving.

    About Me: I graduated as the valedictorian of Concord University in 2024 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. During my time at Concord, I student taught in second grade for a year. This will be my first year at MCA!

    Fun Facts: I love spending time outdoors, including hiking and kayaking. I love everything about music.

    About Me: I received my BS in secondary education with a focus in math and science. Since then, I have had 25+ years of experience in education.

    About Me: I received my BS in education with a minor in special education. I have 12 years of educational experience. I have taught a range of classes from sixth grade to middle and high school sciences.

    Fun Facts: I enjoy crafting, reading, and organizing anything. I love all animals (except for snakes).

    About Me: I graduated from Bluefield State University with an associate degree in radiology. After school, I began working as a radiologic technologist. I later began teaching radiology courses at South West Community College. I have also substituted in Mercer County Public Schools since 2022.

    Fun Facts: The first time I flew in an airplane, I jumped out of it. I love to travel.
